To be able to run as a part of our pack you must first get to know existing members. At least one of them must be willing to recommend you as a potential member, and bring your application before the clan. If you do not have anyone to vouch for you to apply to the clan, you can still request to join the wolf channel to get to know us and find someone to vouch for you.
Once you have been recommended to the clan, an elder will reach out to you. You will be required to undergo a short quiz to ensure you are familiar with clan policies. Should you pass the quiz, you will then enter a one-week voting process, during which members of Clan Wolf will vote to determine if you will be a good fit for the clan.
The voting process is designed for us to get to know you better, and in turn you will get to know both the members of our clan and our policies.
During the voting period, Prospective members must become acquainted with active members of Clan Wolf by meeting the following requirements:
These are the rules of Clan Wolf.
All policies are subject to change if desired by clan members. We hold monthly clan meetings, in which members may bring up any issues they want to discuss, or changes they'd like to see implemented.
These policies are not made to make your life harder or simply to have rules, instead they are made to help our pack run as smoothly as possible.
Wolf is a place where every member pays dues. These dues do not go toward one person, rather they are used to pay for the clan and to ensure the future of the pack. Paying dues also makes sure that all clan members have a stake in making sure the clan runs smoothly and a reason to remain active.
Note: You may pay your dues in advance. Because we require weekly dues payments, we ask that you avoid the usage of the autotithe feature.
The amount of dues you are required to pay depends on your rank in the clan:
If you wish to pay dues for someone else, either another specific member or to support the entire clan, you may do so by contacting the clan treasurer (currently Xorg).
Additionally, if you and another member (or multiple members) wish to work together to support each other, you may request to have your dues pooled. Dues paid by anyone in the pool will be added together when determining whether the weekly requirements have been met.
If at any time your account becomes more than one week in debt, you will face a range of penalties, up to and including removal from the clan. After the first week, second rank members and above will have their private rooms removed, and they will be demoted to first rank member. After the second week, you may be removed from the clan at any time.
It is the job of the clan treasurer to ensure that all members dues are accurately tracked, and that no member ever faces a dues related penalty without multiple warnings.
All members will receive weekly mudmails, usually on Sundays, with an update about their current dues status. By default these messages are sent if you have less than three months of dues remaining.
Clan policy states that any member of clan wolf may not have any alts in other clans.
First time offenders will be given one week to remove their character from the other clan. Failure to remove the character from the other clan will result in immediate removal from clan Wolf.
Second time offenders will be given three days to remove their character from the other clan. Failure to remove the alt from the other clan will result in immediate removal from clan Wolf.
Third time offenders will be automatically removed from the clan with no warnings given.
If you have a serious problem with a packmate, here is what you must do:
First, you should try to work it out with the other person. If you can't come to terms with each other, you must contact an elder to review the situation
Once an elder has been contacted they will review the situation, including talking to all involved parties, as well as other relevant clan members. After the review is complete, the elder will make a decision as to which, if any, parties are at fault, and take action as appropriate.
Action may include a formal strike against any number of members involved with the issue, changes to clan policies to resolve the problem, or, in extreme cases, summary removal of a significant offender.
If a member decides to leave the clan for any reason, all alts that they have in the clan will be removed, and access to clan resources will be revoked.
If they wish to rejoin the clan they must go through the initiation process.
Since clan loyalty is very important to our clan, if you leave the clan in a negative manner we reserve the right to reject your future application to rejoin Wolf.
We are a pack so you will be expected to act as such.
General asshole behavior will not be tolerated.
Members are expected to keep significant objectional content (such as sexist, racist, homophobic, or other discriminatory language) out of all clan proceedings. This includes all clan channels, clan runs, and any clan event. You have the right to speak, but not to be a jerk.
Your packmates come first, so watch out for each other. If a packmate needs help, you are not always expected to drop everything and run to their aid, but the pack should still come before others.
You may not have another clan member on ignore. If you have a significant issue with another member, you should go through the established issue handling process.
Any alt you have in the clan must be played at least once in a three month period. Alts that appear as idle for three months or more in the clan roster may be subject to removal.
For most small violations of clan rules, members will receive a warning regarding their behavior, and an explanation of what they can do to correct it. Significant violations of clan rules or a continuing history of small ones will result in a formal strike against the member. Members who receive two strikes will be removed from clan Wolf.
If you are interested in joining our pack please contact any current clan member for more information. We do not recruit based on level, but how well you interact with existing members and how well you fit into the pack. Clan wolf is a place to have fun, enjoy the game and meet new friends.
